Originally from Lexington, Kentucky, Sara was raised here in Central Florida.  Her mother taught elementary school and her father was a football, basketball and track coach before moving on to education administration.  He later served as principal at Union Park Elementary for 20 years until his retirement.   While her father passed in 2011, Sara’s mother still resides in Maitland Florida.

Sara was raised in the Presbyterian Church and her sister, Becky, is now serving as a Presbyterian minister in Asheville North Carolina where her husband, Mark, also has his own Presbyterian church.

Her daughter Madison is an Assistant State Attorney in Seminole County and her son Dylan is finishing his final year of law school at Barry University in Orlando.

Sara graduated from Oviedo High School, the University of Central Florida and Stetson University School of Law.  During her 30 year law practice she has represented indigent criminal clients, represented the interests of abused and neglected children as lead counsel for the Guardian Ad Litem Program in Seminole county and, since 2006 has owned and operated her own practice handling civil litigation, probate matters, criminal and family law throughout Central Florida.

Sara’s experience is diverse, which gives her the benefit of having seen what works and what doesn’t work.  Her longstanding client relationships are a testament to her commitment to hard work and quality representation.  Most importantly, she has experienced litigation from the viewpoint of the litigant as opposed to the government and strongly believes in fairness, justice and the right to be heard.
