Dr. William L. Bradley, Jr. is the senior and founding pastor of New Hope Church, Deltona. He is a native Floridian born in DeLand and married to First Lady Dorothalene “Dot” Bradley, a distinguished woman of God. This team was united in marriage on December 13, 1986 and are loving parents of Mia and Mila.

Dr. Bradley completed his secondary education in Volusia County. He attended Florida State University, Cannon Bible College, and Newburgh Theological Seminary for his higher education and professional development, and was awarded an honorary Doctor of Divinity from Evangel Christian University of America.

His parents having first imparted to Dr. Bradley, as well as to all their children, the importance of faith in God, commitment to serving God, and a strong affection for family, he founded the New Hope Church, Deltona, Florida in 1993, which has been fountain of hope for salvation and restoration. The Church has served as a strong arm and beacon in the community, offering numerous resources to address the needs of the people.

Under the visionary leadership of Dr. and First Lady Bradley, the church has achieved numerous accomplishments. These include the founding of New Hope Human Services, Inc. on August 10, 1998, a non-profit organization offering various family services and programs such as Friday Night Live, Hands of Hope, Food Pantry, E-3 Educational Enrichment Entrepreneurship, and the Dance Project; establishment of the high-quality ABC Daycare and Preschool in January 2000 where First Lady Bradley serves as its director; and the creation of the New Hope Community Development Corporation, Inc. in July 2020, birthed out of their yearn for building a Community of Hope which will include affordable housing.

Dr. Bradley active community involvements are many, but just to name are few: Founder and current member of the Concerned Clergy Coalition of West Volusia, a member of the DeBary-Deltona-Orange City Rotary Club, and a lifetime member and current second Vice-President of the West Volusia Branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. As cited by the 2025 Deltona MLK Luncheon Program, the Bradley team lives by the mantra: “All of our problems are never bigger than God’s power. Keep the Hope and the Faith because there is NO hopeless situation with God because God is Good, God is for Us, God is with Us, and God is Faithful!” They are a vital part of our Black History!
