This past weekend, I had the incredible honor of representing the West Volusia NAACP at the Florida State Conference Spring Meeting in Orlando. It was truly inspiring to connect with passionate members and fellow membership chairs from across the state, all working toward the same goal of uplifting our communities.
One of the highlights for me was diving into the NAACP bylaws, gaining a deeper understanding of how we operate and why every role and action matters. It was a powerful reminder of the strength behind our structure and our mission.
The energy, collaboration, and shared commitment I experienced throughout the weekend left me feeling recharged and ready to bring fresh ideas back to our Branch. I’m grateful for the opportunity to learn, grow, and continue pushing the work of the NAACP forward!
